Uganda Hotel Owner Association
The Uganda Hotel Owners Association (UHOA) was formally registered in May 2000 after the founders of the association, led by Dr. B. M. Kibirige, realized the need to bring Hotel owners in the country together under one common thread to lobby and advocate for the interests of hoteliers in Uganda.
Vision:
To become the foremost association and chief representative for the hospitality sector throughout Uganda.
Mission:
To improve & strengthen service standards across members’ facilities & operations through targeted training, marketing, & advocacy.
Objectives:
At its establishment, the association defined a set of core objectives
to guide its growth, purpose, and long-term direction.
To build the capacity of members to offer quality services
To assist members to improve their occupancy rates.
To lobby and advocate for an enabling environment for the hotel industry in Uganda.
